The April Boys

To celebrate my sons' April birthdays I have created two top note boxes. Lance will be 32 years old and he enjoys playing cards. So what better way to have fun than create a card themed box. Inside is a little comething for him.

Whitney will be 27 years old and for him I created a Happy Birthday themed top note box. This treat box has a straight edge and a brown color scheme. The ribbon has fishing designs. Simply untie the bow and take a peek inside for a little surprise.

I wish each of my sons a special birthday wish~!~

Minnie Girl

I have created a magical clipboard showing off my daughter in her Minnie Mouse tee and skirt. This is one of my very own designs that I hand pieced appliqued with satin stitches. The skirt has a ruffled petticoat.

This project was inspired by my group Crafters Anonymous which has bi-weekly contests. This particular challenge was to create a clipboard with any medium. I chose Disney themed papers and added swirls, flowers, and many ribbons.

Today I have created a sweet calendar for desk use. This was an entry in Crafters Anonymous Sunday Challenge. Our task was to create a calendar with any medium. I covered chipboard with Stampin' Up DSP and then added ribbon through jumbo eyelets. The calendar was adhered to CS with two blue brads.

You are welcome to come visit our site to see the fun designs created by our members.

Easter Top Note Box

I was so excited about the Valentine Top Note Box that I had to make one for Easter too. I used a blue floral designer paper and included a circle punch with flower image. I added jewels to accent the flower center and Happy Easter message. A blue ribbon adds a final touch.

This is a sweet Valentine box I created with the Stampin' Up top note die. The top note die is attached to the top and bottom of the box. The little Valentine girl sits on top to deliver her Valentine a sweet treat inside. Ribbon was attached for accent.

I have created this fun Milk Carton Basket in a Valentine theme. In yester years and even today little school children drink there milk from this style of milk carton. We use to always wash them out and then use them for science experiments. Notice how I added some delicate tulle with ribbon to give it some poof.
One could easily use this design for any other fun-filled holiday.
This delightful project made with Stampin' Up's milk carton die was a sure fit for our Crafters Anonymous Sunday Challenge. I hope you enjoy this sweet basket!

I found this lovely Because I Care card and just had to recreate it with my little twist. It is just gorgeous.
